To the Lord your God belongs the heavens, even the highest heavens the earth and everything in it. Yet the Lord set his affection on your forefathers and loved them, and he chose you, their descendants above all the nations
It’s the halfway point of the School of the Circuit Riders and my life has already been drastically changed! I cannot wait for the rest of the school as Jackie Pullinger, Ray Hughes and Lou Engle come to impart even more wisdom and zeal.
The school leaders have kept it basic. Let’s go back to the true, simple Gospel. Let’s infuse our thinking with the Truth. Not with theology that is based around our circumstances or life experiences but on what Jesus said. Plain and simple. We are also committed to creating a revival culture within the school. Here is a brief rundown of what that looks like.
Just Jesus - Simplicity, Christ-centered, Christ-focused, He is the answer to everything, Jesus is Salvation, Unapologetic love for ministering to His heart
Faith - Believing God is who He says He is, Complete trust in His Word, Radical optimism… seeing as God sees, Believing the best about others… I am your #1 fan
Holiness - Un-offendable hearts, Pure tongues, Destroying the little foxes “little compromises in our life”, Joyful repentance, It is my superior pleasure to remove this from my life, because what I have to gain is far better!
Thankfulness - The key to overnight revival, Surrendered, Teachable, Humble, Ready for Inconvenient breakthrough
Discipleship - It’s about others, Multiply, Freely receive & freely give, Burning for the truth; burning for lost souls, Jesus made disciples
As we break off old ways of thinking and allow our hearts to be awakened to the beauty of the Gospel and the man Jesus Christ things happen! On average, we’re seeing 30+ people come to salvation every week and healings are becoming a daily occurrence -scoliosis healed, flat feet given arches, eye sight restored, legs growing out… all by the power of Jesus’ name.
I leave on August 15th to head to Washington D.C. with a crew of about 30 people. We’ll be spending two weeks in the capital city to contend in the place of prayer and intercession that our country would experience revival, not only in the hearts of the citizens but also in the legislature. I’ll get to do my first life siege in D.C. which I am so excited about. A life siege is a silent protest, where you have red duct tape across your mouth with the words “life” written across and you pray for the ending of abortion. In America, over 50 million babies have been aborted since 1973 and this breaks the Lord’s heart! We’ll stand in front of the Supreme Court agreeing with heaven over these precious children’s lives.
My heart is filled with anticipation for this next season of life. I will be headed home for a little over a month after the D.C. outreach and then I will be back here in Kona in October to commit to serving at the YWAM base for at least a year. My main role will be serving one of the campus leaders, Andy and his wife Holly Byrd and their family. I’ll also be staffing the prayer room and undergoing some leadership training to prepare me to head out into the nations long-term, hopefully in 2013. I cannot do any of this without your amazing support. If any of you are interested in partnering with me monthly, please let me know! I love you all dearly!
