it’s a simple thing but hard for our minds to grasp.
it’s beautiful.
it’s astonishing.
it’s transformational.
it’s life changing.
what i’ve been thinking about most recently concerning the gospel is that the gospel isn’t just a “get out of hell card” but an invitation to a relationship that changes everything.
the way i think.
the way i feel.
the way i love.
the way i speak.
the gospel. it was never meant just for eternity, but it was meant for now too. allow the simple truth that the creator God sent his beloved son, Jesus, to earth to redeem a people he made for himself so that we could be reunited with him. intimacy restored.
salvation. healing. deliverance.
this is what his death on the cross offers to us today.
i hope that your heart and mind are transformed by the power of the gospel and that you live differently because of the gospel today.
