To the Lord your God belongs the heavens, even the highest heavens the earth and everything in it. Yet the Lord set his affection on your forefathers and loved them, and he chose you, their descendants above all the nations
I arrived in Kona around 4:30pm yesterday and it has been glorious ever since.
Just stepping off the plane to sunshine, ocean and green makes me so happy. I went through registration and headed to my room to meet my roommates. There are five of us sharing a room, which is better than some other rooms where there are seven or even eight girls sharing one room. Did I mention that there is only one bathroom per room?
One thing that is great about YWAM and specifically about this campus is the diversity. Just today I’ve talked to people from Sweden, Canada, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Paraguay and Australia.
This morning we had orientation and started off in the prayer room where it got intense real quick. My school has over seventy people in it and we’re all ready to go. There is such an electricity and excitement in the air.
YWAM celebrated it’s 50th anniversary last year, so as we enter this 51st year we are believing for God to continue to be faithful (as he has for the past 50 years) and to see even more of His glorious nature in our hearts and in the nations.
I found out the schedule for the twelve weeks of training. My leaders said the training time is comparable to trying to drink water from a fire hydrant. Some of the speakers during my training include: Andy Byrd, Jonathan & Melissa Helser, Steve Thompson, Sean Feucht, YWAM founders Loren and Darlene Cunningham and author of Red Moon Rising, Pete Greig. I say, bring it on.
I feel so blessed to be here. Thank you so much for making it possible.
Revival is a reality.
